Yoga Competition
Yoga helps to relax, rejuvenate and regenerate the body, mind, and soul. It has physical, mental, and spiritual benefits.
Yoga was first taught by sage Patanjali about 1700 years ago. Yoga competitions help us stay connected to our Indian roots,
and also encourages the younger generation to follow a healthy lifestyle. Daily practice of yoga eventually balances out vata, pitta,
and kapha Dosha. The breathwork helps maintain focus in the present moment, simultaneously creating body awareness. A person with a healthy
body and mind becomes a fountain of joy for self as well as the community. The KAGW family aspires to create such a source of positive upliftment for society,
especially given the current trying times. The yoga competition will be held during Day 2 (April 9, 2022) of Talent Time. We hope to see you there!
